umm, I think he was talking about the megashifter.
I don't like them either but its your car and you have to live with it.

A Pro Stick or quarter stick would be alot lighter though.

The seat is very sturdy. It's vacuformed plastic. I think I paid $30 for it, and I also picked up the padded seat cover to put on later. Summit charges a small additional fee to ship the seat (on top of the $10.95), and it comes unboxed. I came home one day, and there was a seat sitting on my front porch. Keep that in mind if you think it could get stolen from your place.

I know what you mean about seat comfort. My seat is actually installed much farther back than the farthest positon on the factory seats in my other 'bird. I made this one more comfortable for my long legs

Yeah I was going to let a local upholstery shop take a crack at some comfy covers for when I'm not racing the car. I think the Summit seat covers look a little tacky. Although I have only seen them on their website. Have any pics of the seat with covers? And what do those things weigh?
