Vacuum pump w/ stock pulleys
I have also been thinking of putting a serp. pulley on the pump I have and running it as a manual tensioner.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Let me know if you would like more info we can get you pricing on the kit. i am not sure if his mandrel setup will work with the aerospace pump.
Here you can see how the vacuum pump pulley is integrated into a new tensioner, the pump has an integrated regulator.
I have one of his mountain motor pumps going on my car.

The race pump is completely adjustable and can pull as much as 30" vaccum.
Higher vacuum levels definitely will put up serious HP gains but bear in mind that’s applicable at the race track where as street use has limits that need to be adhered to.

The Main Difference is the ability for it to pull more vacuum. This helps to seal the rings, decrease blow-by and prevent oil foaming.
Charlie has 2+ years with his same Pump on his DD 427 Corvette. They have a 1 year warranty but have never seen a failure with proper use.
One thing I forgot to ask was if I could use front facing vacuum bungs in the valvecovers with your kit? My valvecovers have the bungs in the front.........does this make things more difficult?

This is also a street driven car. Probobly 2k miles a year.

What I meant was does the pump get in the way where it is placed on the bracket? I tried to fab up my Aerospace pump but it hit the bung.
