I wonder what these weigh compared to the jegs brand 15x4 prostar lookalikes? I've got those on my car..they look identical...wonder if it's the same company doing both of them?

I went with the Jegs wheels. 15x4 in front and 15x10 in back. The rears are 4.5 bs with a 3" narrowed on both sides MOSER rearend. Look under my post and you can pull up pic's I love the setup and everything fit perfectly.

figured I'd bring the post back since I might be buying a set the summit star fronts from my neighbor. He's got a C4 project car he was going to run these on but is going with a different setup. I borrowed one to check out and test fit and took some pics before I decide if I want them or not. too bad his rears are totally wrong offset for my car.
first off weight with the valve stem and center cap..
and another pic... Rear shot (56K.. Large Pic to see the stamping on back)
The look good and I might just pick these up after I see what I'll need to do to get them to clear my calipers tomorrow. Hopefully when the rears are in stock they will clear our brakes with little or no grinding but I'm not going to keep my fingers crossed.

i wonder if these are the old weld xp's? funny these popped up on the market right after the weld xp left the scene. i know those were one piece wheels with more clearance than standard welds, but heavier.

you know what they just might be but I thought the XP's will used the shank stlye lugs? either way.. I bought them from the neighbor this evening. they cleared my stock calipers with 1/8" of washers as a spacer on the test fit. I'm still going to run a nice 5/16" spacer just to be sure they clear though.
Bringing this up to let everyone know that the rears go on stock brakes without grinding either. I decided to grind a little off the corners but I didn't spend more than 4 minutes with the grinder. My pads and rotors are barely about 2 months old too. Check it out

My buddy put a set on his 02 WS6 and had to lightly grind the front. The rears had to be ground to a very dangerous level. Way more than I had to for the Prostars on my car. His had a lip on the inside of the wheel where it met the rim. I didn't see one in the pic. They may have corrected this now; if so he's gonna be pissed
