Default Wolfe Bar - Over the seat or to the wheel wells?

I ordered a Wolfe 6 point with the rear bars going to the wheel wells mostly for looks. After thinking about it, it looks like the over the seat bars might be closer to the shock towers. Anyone have experience with either or thoughts on which is the best, (safest). No rear seat in the car.

I would go with the bars going over the seat. In the future if you ever consider minitubbing your car you would have to redo the rear bars. Plus the area over the seat should be a little stronger than the fender well area.

How about go to the frame rails in the cargo area.....then maybe a x bar in the back. Or leave it out and have more of a open area above the gas tank.

That is definitely the best way to go ^^^. If you are just going to do a pre bent kit though then I think over the seat is better.

Yep, it's pre bent. Think I might have to change the order and go over the seat.
