as the title says can you please post pictures of how you mounted the female part of the fastner *bracket* to the car or top of fender area? i kno before i saw a picture of someone who had flat metal stock w/ holes drilled in w/ them riveted down that way. i'd really like to get this hood mounted up but dont feel like F*ckin up my new hood and such.

anyone? maybe my question is a little vague- i'm looking for pics of pin on hoods w/ dzus fasteners (the brackets and how many fasteners were used) thanks.

I would say don't (DON'T) do it. I have regretted put those damn things on ever since I did it. If at all possible use the hinges, and if you have to do a couple in front.

You can go to either of my sites and look at the pictures of my car with the hood off. You can see them. Riveted to inter part of the fender "lip". Suck to take off and on all the time. Marks all over the hood and fenders. THEY SUCK!!!

Here's how I did mine. I think the weight savings is way worth it. For the sides I heated the brackets in a vise w/a torch and bent them.

thanks guys for you help w/ the pics and advice. navy- i'm already in too deep to change haha i have a pin on only hood and the fasteners. so i'll give it a shot.
