Default worth mini-tubbing on my car?

I am redoing my setup in my car and since I have the interior out and putting in an 8 point cage I've been thinking of mini-tubbing the car as well while I'm at it. The rear is a moser 12 bolt that has been narrowed an inch on each side and since it's only been narrowed an inch I was wondering if it was even worth minitubbing the car. I've got a buddy that's minitubbed several cars that will help out with the project but If it's not really necessary, I might not do it. what do you guys think?

I did mine while I had everything out for the cage I just went ahead and did mine so it would be easier to do. Later on when I am ready for my big tires it will be there. You can fit pretty big tires already but if you want them to tuck you will need a tub. Also I think something else that would look pretty cool is to get some wider street tires and wheels and tuck them in there.

my next question is, once I mini-tub, should I run the roll bar over the gas tank or should I run it through the speaker holes?

I don't think you can even do the speaker hole style with a tub.

yeah, I meant running the bars to end on the mini tubs or ending over the gas tank. Doesn't really matter to me because the rears out of the car right now anyways so I can just drop the tanks and go and I'll probably drop the tank before doing the minitubs anyways because I am also thinking of upgrading the fuel lines while I'm at it.
