Thats a high 14, what was the 60ft? My 93 ran 9.1@78 stock on a 2.25 60ft. What was the elevation?

agreed, look at the 60' time first
and I'm hopin' you're not using the hypertech "tuning" and only changing shift points

Time for drag radials and a converter, you'll see your times drop fast! The trap seems about right though. With a cold air intake, SLP LM cat back and a P.I Vigi 3200 stall I ran 8.5@80 on a 1.86 60ft, that was on ZR1 wheels with Kuhmo 712s, track was hooking hard that night. You need to bring that 60 down to sub 2.0s, converter and a set of drag radials would be the best way to do it. What gears do you have?

the 3.23 . if i do the drags and converter, will that be to much strain on the rear end? you dropped that much time just by a stall?

No, that is not normal for an Lt1 unless the da and or driver is realy bad. In the hot humid summer here in the panhandle of Florida they seem to average 9.1 - 9.2. That 60 ft is bad though. With a good set of tires and a good launch - say a 2.0 60ft that would put you right around where you should be. Get some DR'S and work on the launch!

i do a lil burn out to get the **** off of my tires, then again the track i am at is kinda crappy. ne ways. i hold the brake and apply gas just before my tires break loose. then light turns and i mash the gas. is that wrong, or no?
