What springs?

Weight Transfer Question My front end isn't transferring the weight near as well as it was last year and I having a heck of a time getting my ET Drags to hook.
This is a track only car and the set-up is a 347, a/c removed, abs removed, all emissoins removed, and all of the windshield wipers and the windshield wiper accessories removed. I also have a tubular k-member and replaced the stock SS hood with a VFN 3" SS hood. The springs are QA1 275# with the QA1 F series front and rear. My coils have roughly 1-1/4" between them. I would think I want them to be almost fully compressed. The main differences between this year and last are the hood, ABS, and winshield wipers and accessories, and I added skinnies this year.
Should I be looking to go with a lighter spring like a 250# or so? Or do I need to search elsewhere for my problem?
