Hold brake, rev up a bit to take the slack out of the drivetrain then mash it on the 3rd yellow and let it eat

Every car and combination will vary to a degree. You don't want to stall it as high as possible, as that will "push" the car out of the beams versus launching it at a lower rpm. My current 3800 stall I launch around 1700-2000 depending on reaction times I'm cutting (since I bracket race). The Honda shouldn't be a problem!

Get a real stall converter. That 2500 is way to small. JMO

3600+ stall is where you should be.

trying stalling it up and also try just mashing it when its time to go.. find what works.. i can say as my stalls and setups have changed.. both have worked

put it in 1st.. come to a stop... Mat it.. se where rev goes before you move.. remember it... launch there...

power brakeing gives you a false converter stall....

and get a converter that suits your engines peak TQ range.. bigger is not always better. why put a 4500 stall in an eng that peak rpm is say 5100 and peak TQ is 1500... you just waisted your whole powerband in slip.

but i could be wrong. /shrug

just my 2 cents.
