Default First time at the track!

I know this has been asked before but ill be going to the track wednesday for the first time with my first LS1 car and was wondering if anyone had any pointers, should i go around the water box? what rpm should i leave and what kinda tire pressure should i run, also is it worth removing the spare tire and pass seat? this car has the horrible 2.73's in it

I run 40 upfront and 25 in the back.
with street radials you really otta go around the box but bust a burn out just for fun, man. The cowd likes it too. It'll do nothin for your times but greatly enhance the experience.
