Has anyone with a 6-speed had trouble twisting yokes?

Has anyone with a 6-speed had trouble twisting yokes? This has been about the second or third time twisting the transmission yoke. The last one lasted 3 passes. I've been using the spicer hd yokes, but apparently they aren't gonna hold up to the 6500rpm launches. I'm gonna try a strange billet yoke, and see if I can't break it too. Has anyone else had this problem?
