What do you think?.. I am asking this Q for my brother's sake. We both ran last Sat. night...and he is quite unhappy with his times vs mine. Here is what we have. My car is the 01 SS in sig...his car is a 99 WS6 A4..Lid,Belows,LTs,ORY,Borla,Tune,3.73s. I ran a 13.521 @ 102.....He runs 13.280s at about 104-105...so as you see...his LTs, ORY, 3.73s, and Tune seem to only net hime a couple tenths...I seem to agree that his car should be faster...It has a MadZ28 tune that seems to be on target A/F etc...and we both ran 2.10 60's on street tires....either he is running slow or I am running good or a little of both?...What do you guys think?...

01 ss is hot man...... great bang for the buck...
i believe the ss is spunkier than the ws6 handling package TA.. (not sure about this) and a 99 vs 01 also...
we had one running 11.70's 6spd, ls6 cam, chip.. tire/adj shocks and 4.11s with a few other tiny mods... ran 10.90's on the giggle gas...
is one a manual vs auto? you cant just bolt on stuff you see in a mag and expect to pick up 100hp... doesn't work that way.. i think you both have a lot to gain with a tire.. and tuning shift points.

They are both A4s...and yea thats exactly what I was telling him...I told him not to expect bus lengths from just LTs and a 3.73s...Maybe you can shed some light on this...I watched very close when his car launched....somehow even on street tires...it didnt even spin a lick...almost seemed to bog for a split second and then was a raped ape....any advice on this dept....is that what to expect without a stall?...
