Droping the clutch and dumping the clutch are two ways to not launch as quick as possible. Just let it out slowly, slip the clutch Not the tires!!! Bogging the motor (barely) and not spinning is quicker. Practice and experiment a lot.

Have you takin off the front sway bar when you run at the track before? I know it helps me ALOT to get the front up and the weight transfered.
yeah that was when i first got the car there was no sway bar on the front. i put the one from the old red parts car on so i could drive the thing on the street. i'll try it again though.

Thats what I launched at with 26" slicks. When I switched to 28" slicks and 4.30 gears I had to raise it up SOM. I launch now anywhere from 6400rpm to 6800 but I'm sure all that will change again when I change my cam. Everyone's car is different so your gonna have to see what works best for you

I had some MT ET Streets I threw on my old Salad Shooters last year, I have a M6 3.42 and I could launch off the rev limiter and bog, I was running 13.5 pounds of air, I think I should have put some more air in the tires but I was new to the whole drag radial thing...best I ever pulled was a 1.89 60ft...I bought some Nittos this year so I wouldnt hook as well and hopefully save my 10 bolt, Nittos suck ***** my friend! lol Just thought Id throw that in there.
