28x10W tires
The "W" has a bit more tread width, and a good bit more sidewall width as well. You'd definately have to do some sledge-hammering to get them to fit, but it shouldn't be a huge deal.
My current 29.5x10.5's have almost the same sidewall width as the 28x10.5W, but not as much tread. The extra height of the 29.5(29.9" actual height) made the tire rub inside the wheel opening where I hadn't had clearance issues before, but it wasn't too much trouble to make some more room with a hammer.
