Greg And Marianne Moser, Jeff and Eileen Bickel Killed In South Carolina Plane Crash
May 17, 2003 - Portland, Indiana - Greg and Marianne Moser and Jeff and Eileen Bickel were killed late Friday afternoon when the single-prop four-passenger airplane they were traveling in crashed outside of Allendale, South Carolina.

Greg and Marianne Moser, co-founders of Moser Engineering located in Portland, Indiana, along with Jeff Bickel, plant manager at the same company, and his wife Eileen were headed to Beaufort, South Carolina from the Portland Municipal Airport in Portland, Indiana when the plane crashed. The cause of the accident is undetermined at this time.
Greg Moser, 50, was the founder and president of Moser Engineering, a manufacturer of hi-performance racing components, located in Portland, Indiana. The long-time drag racer and axle manufucturer started his business with his wife, Marianne H., 49, in 1982.

We all also should be saying a prayer for Brendon Bernstein, who had a bad accident at Englishtown, N.J. at the National event held last wknd.... WJ.

way off subject, but I grew up in Beaufort, SC. You don't see much press on it, but its probably one of the most beautiful low country spots around. Most people recognize Hilton Head island or Paris island. Both part of that area.

As for Greg Moser and Jeff Bickel, i have talked to both of them on the phone and visited the plant where Bickel was generous enough to give me a personal tour. they were both great guys and will be missed
