Default All 408 n/a strokers' times

I am working on a 408 strokes for my a4 fbody. I was wandering what other similar people are running with these larger motors. I knows it will vary with h/c combos and all but after it is all done it should be at500 to the wheels and 500 tq. Just wondering if anyone with similar numbers had some track times

might not be exactly what you are looking for but my 402 NA with a th400 and 9" with 4.11s put down 476/526 to the wheels. The car is about 3250 race weight. Best time of 10.4 @ 130. In the summer weather it runs about 10.6-10.7 @ 127-129 depending on weather and track prep.

well my 6sp heavy non 60ft car and a na 502hp-490tq at the wheels pulls 11.30s at 125s. with crappy 1.75 60s. gettin a auto to 500 hp and tq is gonna need a trick match of parts im think. can be done thats for sure. id say an auto and mid 3500-3600 lb car and 500 500 your lookin at 10.50-10.80 range dependin on suspension and stuff

402 here, times in sig, still have probably another couple tenth's to get out of it in summer air, in late fall air I think 10.3 is possible. Best 60 foto so far was 1.46 off the footbrake, still som there to get too. 3465 raceweight.

I'm running a custom HKE selected grind 248/252 112+2 with 5.3 ltr heads that have been extensively massaged by Greg Good. SCR is 11.8:1 with no detonation sensitivity issues. It'll take 28-29* of timing, but it runs the same ET with 26* so that's where we leave it.

408ci, patriot stage 3 LS6 heads, 244/248 612/615 113, Junk 4l60e, TCI 3500, FAST 90/90, untuned went 11.40's @ 126 mph. Motor was setup for the bottle but i changed my mind. The CR is 10.7-1 right now. Made two passes then the trans blew. I havent been back since tuning, and the 4l80e swap. Should be real low 11's or High 10's. The car is full weight with AC and the only thing removed is the spare.

I have a 5800 in mine, but I think it's a little too loose. Depends on the weight of the car... there's no universal converter that just works.... if you want to get 100% out of the car, you'l probably have 2 or 3 different converter's in the car, or at least restalling it a few times before you get it perfect.
