Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000?

Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000? Any one use this converter and have any pointers? What to I stall at? I have a 12 bolt w/ 373's 15X10 ET Streets, H/C, and of course the Vig 3000. Any tips? I usually stall at 1500 and smash it but I only cut 1.74 60 ft's

Re: Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000? Im nowhere near the times your running, but with that cam your real power doesnt kick in till @2500-2700rpm, so if tire spin is not an issue I'd try 2200-2500rpms.That way your not waiting for the power band.
Re: Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000? Either your car is heavy or your not hooking up. Do a first and second gear burnout. With my Vig3200 I would cut 1.60's on a stock motor. I would hold it at 1500 and mash it. There is no way you can foot brake it to 2200 like Snake Eater suggested and you are leaving the line at over 3000 rpm.
Re: Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000? you should have no probs cutting 1.6's with a 3200 stock internally bolt on. Heads/cam shou,d make that even easier! With my vig 3600 i cut a 1.58 stock in nittos, but after the cam i couldnt hook up well and only cut 1.64's. Im guessing you are spinning a little maybe??
what PSI are you running in those et's?
I ran 21 in mine and cut a 1.55 best 60 cam only but thats a well prepped track. 16-19 PSI shouldnt have to much trouble hooking at any track? BTW, i have stock 10bolt and 3.23's but stalled up a little to 1700-1800 to make it a little easier on rear. But i always cut my best 60's stock leaving close to idle. The 3200 should be about the same

Re: Any tips on how to launch w/ Vig 3000? MY ET Streets are usually set at 15 pds. Im going to try and run it at 2000, then at close to idle and Ill let u all know by tomorrow night what worked best for me thanks for the input guys!
