Installed a Burkhart Fab9...pics..
His Fab9 is built like a tank.
Added bonus was the gears don't make any noise...OEM quiet...until I hit it with the transbrake
Weighs 186lbs with fluid and stock backingplates/parkbrakes on it...ready to bolt in. Moser 12bolt was 196lbs same stuff.
Only thing I had to do was drill out all the mounting bolt holes to 0.520" since my LCA's, etc have big bolts, Make a LCA lowering bracket to get a -3degrees on the LCA and make a 0.750" thick swaybar spacer since I didn't use a weld on swaybar....all can be seen in the pics below.

In the big picture either 9 inch is overkill for most street cars since a regular 9 without any extra bracing is stout.
Lots of differences in a FAB9 and a 9 though. Moly vs mild steel
, TA mounting bracket is located on the banjo so it does not hit the tunnel. TA mount has a plate brace if you look at the rear pic. The rear housing is part of the brace...not a brace welded over a pressed pumpkin....all overkill though.
Burkhart was great to deal with and its a top notch piece. Glad I bought it.
I've owned a Strange, Moser and now the Burkhart. No comparision in the quality of the build. Burkhart's stuff looks too good to put under a car.
