so what thickness would be safe to use for limited street driving, which includes occasional highway cruises?

mine was made in 3/16 and its seems fairly stiff, not sure I would do 1/8. I havent spent too much time with it, while its a good chunk of weight its also over the rear tires and for me traction is more of an issue then 50lbs at this point. I'm actually adding weight to the rear these days

So are you guys having to reinforce the deck lid? How is the lexan holding up the hatch?

I have seen the front sheild on 355 lowest

You can buy a set of blanks that are 2" larger and trim them down at another place,the set for blanks is 500$+ shipping

I just spoke with someone at percys. The front window is about a 30lb saving however not dot legal. He said it wouldnt shatter. The side windows theres about a 10lb saving with the pair.

I think i might order up the rear

Here is mine. It saved lots of lbs. VFN hatch with percy glass. It was a bitch to line it up and make it fit. I had a glass guy cut the glass for me and then I made it fit. I have 4 zueses holding on each side and 3 in the back and the glass slides up under the the top of the roof. I can handle the assemble by myself.
