Default Is this a decent time for an auto LS1?

I ran a 8.790 at 84 MPH in the 8th mile, that was my best ET, my other runs where all 8.80's at the same MPH. I was running the Same time, 8.80's at 74 MPH, but then I relised I was cutting off the gas a little before the end of the track, I ran still the same ET, but 10 MPH faster.

Any idea on what the 8.70 run at 84 would be in the quarter mile? I'm running on cheap *** $40 tires in the rear that do not even heat up in the water box.

I have Pace-Setter headers, SLP Y-pipe, Borla exhaust, WS6 rear end swap, ECU tune, K&N air cleaer, no cats, auto shift kit, aluminum driveshaft, and I think thats about it. Should this car be running faster? it seems almost faster on the street then it does at the track. And if I did get some good tires, like MT Drag radials, how much would it shave my ET by?

Without your 60 foot times it'd be a guess on how much is left on the table. The mph isn't bad for summer time air (my Formula usually runs 8.60s-.70s at 83 mph in the 1/8 during summer with 2.05 60 foots), and I only have a Flowmaster catback, FTRA, K & N panel filter and lid. I'd think you'd be faster with the headers and y-pipe with no cats, but is the tune spot on?

I dont know much about the tune, just was told it had one in it. And my 60 foot times where 2.20's, but keep in mind, these are very shitty tires I have in the rear lol.

Those are descent times for a summer run considering the 2.2 60. You really need to get that 60' down, that is what is killing you. You have an easy few tenths to gain there.

2.2 60 foots mean you have at least 3 tenths in the 1/8-mile if you can find low 2.0 60 foot times (sticky tires and/or getting the launch right). Keep at it.
