Alright guys I need some advice. Friday I ran a 12.37@112 with a 1.84 60 ft. I have MTI S2 Heads and X1 Cam, Moser 12 Bolt 373 gears, 3000 Stall, 15X10 E/T Streets wiht Prostars, etc. Dont know how I can get my 60 down. People say, get that 60 down and youll get a good slip. My question, How? Easier said than done. I make a good burn out, Stall to 1500 and mash it, dont know what to do anymore. My car doesnt feel like it spins or anything...

how'd you fit 15" rims on er?, oh those are smaller disc's on the rear huh

Was your work done at MTI it seems that tuning is needed because mph is very low.That set up should lay down some great 11sec et's and 118-120+ mph trap speeds.

Whats your suspension setup...

I know I had bad problems with my 60' when I had my cam only setup w/my TH400, I could get a best of 12.2@112, that was with Et streets on the back and firehawk rims on the front w/the SLP bilstein suspension setup...

I then upgraded to MTI heads and the X1, and changed over to prostars all around and bought some HAL shocks, and the best I could get was an 11.6@117.5 with almost a 3700 raceweight....

Something isn't right. I ran 12.02@111 1.60 60' on a stock motor, tranny and rear. Last year I upped that number to an 11.70@115 with a full interior with a little 220/226 cam. What is the 'DA at when you are racing? I would ask MTI. You paid a lot of money for their setup. Have them check it out.

Thanks for all the info guys, Ill check with MTI Im sure i just need a little tuning thats all. BTW: My suspension is stock but I ordered all the suspernsion possible and it should be here shortly. Also I just noticed that I have a bent Torque Arm.
