I run a M/T ET Drag 28 x 10.5 slick for my bracket racing stuff and a 275/60/15 M/T ET Street radial for playing around. Drag radials have given me better 60 foots, times and trap speeds compared to the slicks (rolling resistance and sidewall stiffness matter) but unless the suspension and track are set-up right, slicks will always be better IMHO than radials because they are more forgiving. You spin a slick and it will catch back up quicker 9 times out of ten. Spin a radial and pedaling will usually need to happen on a high hp car.

My buddy just tried the 29 x 12 x 15 Hoosier Quick Time Dot slick and we went a 1.34 60 foot on them during a 9.41 at 139 mph pass, and it seemed to be the choice tire at the Pump Gas Drags at Memphis this may (most drag radial guys were spinning early, but the track was marginal). The Hoosiers worked great, but short life IMHO for a slick-based DOT tires (less than 50 runs).

I vote other. I tried et drag, they hook good. I tried et streets, there ok. I tried my buds hoosiers, hooked better then the m/t's. I then tried my other buds M&H Racemasters and I broke ****. I never heard of M&H before I borrowed a set to try. I run the M&H 26x11.5x15 cheeter slick. I cut in a m6 car 1.42 n/a For me they seem to work the best and got the lowest 60's from them. www.intercotire.com I'm going to try there full slick now because they don't offer a 27'' tire in the cheeter.

I thought the MT ET street radials worked ok on my M6 but now Im trying a 27" QTP. Seems that M6 cars like a bias ply tire to take the shock.
