Default LCA relocation brackets

Do these drastically increase traction? I have spohn cromoly LCA's, adj. panhard rod, adj. torque arm, and I'm cutting 2.4-2.6 sixty foots. I know a good chunk is probably driver error, but I know on 275 street tires I should be doing better than that.

Will they benefit me even if I'm still at stock height? Do they affect cornering ability or no?
I don't know much about them, but I figure if it will help this thing hook......
The weld in's are less than $100 usually right? Recommendations on who's to run, or are they all just about the same? I'd probably do the weld ins.
Thanks -Corey

a 2.4-2.6 60'? Just get some better tires. Before i had any suspension work done i was cutting 2.0 60's or better which is not good by any means.

It will increase your 60' times, but tends to make cars unstable on the big end due to changing the instant center.

your problem is tire, not relocation brackets. they do help but you need traction first. put a tire on it.

So would they also affect say if I went out for a top speed run? Or do they make the car unstable while braking? Please explain the unstable part to me.

They will help with traction. My car is as stable as can be on the top end. No problems.

I agree that your problem will not be solved by relocation brackets but you would risk breaking your 10-bolt with sticky tires. You should be able to occasionally cut 1.9-second sixtys with your car as is - 2.0 seconds should be easy. Forget about hooking, you need practice.

Yeah I hear you on the practice part. Sucks I'm in the middle of all the tracks, gotta drive 2-2 1/2 hours to hit a decent one.
Typical FL issues too, I used to have a road where I could go out and try, but what do you know, more developments, the cops sit out there now and tell people to take it somewhere else..... what do you know on a Thursday night there isn't anywhere to take it.
