Pt4400 Users Poll I tried this in the Automatic sec with very few results.Trying to do a little research to see if the converter in my car is the best for the application.Please respond if your are runing this converter or have in the past.What tire height,gear ratio,trap speed,RPM thru the traps did you see running the PT4400. THANKS!!!
I'm running it but have not worked out the bugs in the tune yet. basically car laid over about the 1000ft mark. I went a 10.83 @120. that was a 26" tire,4.11,race weight was around 3540#, that was a 1.47 great weather. BTW 1/8TH mile was 6.83@99.
I will have better results once I get my car tuned again. I am throwing a 4.10 gear in it and going to properly log my shift extension and see where the converter flashes to. I think my stock tach is way off.

I run a Yank 4200 in a full bolton with all the mods in a SS camaro. I run a 26.9.15 Hoosier Slick, with 4:10 gears, launch best around 2500 RPM's, used front and rear hal shocks, and best MPH is in sig. I hope this info helps you.

Thanks everyone- i really need to know trap RPM from logging software,the stock tack is WAY off A-LOT.Matt my shift extension is 6900 down to 6100,or 800.If i were you i would log a pass with autotap,or hptuners because i think you are a lot closer to 6100 right now.My old cam only yank 3000TT, 26 slicks,3.73 rear, went through at -114 -115 mph and was turning 5800 rpm via autotap.the converter was extremely tight compared to the pt4400.Badmire68 when you say it laid over do you mean you were hitting the rev limiter,from your 1/8 mile MPH to your 1/4 mile MPH looks like thats what happened.I run (6.75)100 mph in the 1/8 and(10.70) 124 in the 1/4 almost the same as yours except the top end speed.Do you know what RPM you were turning on the top end?
