Screwing Rims

Screwing Rims Is it normal for air to leak out when you screw your rims? Mine do and I just wanted to know if that was ok. It doesn't leak real fast but if you spray water on the rim you can air bubbles.
I've heard of people putting a dab of silicone on the screws before threading them in and that helps seal them so they won't leak.
99% of the people I know of with screws have leaking issues.... I don't think there's any real way to get rid of the issue 100% without running tubes, but that screws with the way the tires plant, and that causes other issues. Some people have had good luck with the tubes, but most people I talk to don't like teh way teh tires work with them in there, plus it's about 10 lbs of rotating weight as far fron center that you have to get moving as well.

Thanks, I guess I will try putting silicone or Teflon on each screw. I just wanted to make sure it was safe before I race on them for the first time tomorrow.
