With a stick car, you will see better results with a bias ply tire, especially on a 17" rim. The soft, flexible sidewall soaks up alot of the drivetrain shock that the clutch dump provides.

yeah, definately. my car has stock heads and stock bottom end and stock T56 (now broken)...."only" made 417 rwhp and with the ET Streets i got the front leftie off the ground on my last pass in Tulsa last weekend. My WORST 60' was 1.59.....best ever before on Radials and a crappier track was a 1.82.

Biased Ply ET Streets + M6 = badass

They will, my buddy had a C5 with a 3600 Vig & the 17" et streets, low 1.50 60' times all the time, on the motor.

With a high stalled A4, I'd go with a drag radial. An automatic car (even with a high stall, or even a transbrake) doesn't hit the tires as hard as a stick car while dumping the clutch at 6500RPM or higher, especially off a two-step.

A bias-ply will definitely hook a high-stalled A4, I'd just prefer to use the drag radial if possible.

I bought these tires 2 weeks ago. 1st launch got me a 1.74...that was a 5500 slip of the clutch. I tried some 6k dumps but the car lose power from a bad connection. what is your trick for 1.50 60ft times. I'm making about the same power maybe a little less. They never spun.

I'm glad I saw this thread. The best I ran prior to putting on theses tires (this year) was 11.01 with 315 M/T drag radials. Today I ran 10.67@131.71. They look thin on my 11" rims though, I'm going to switch them to a set of stock WS6 rims.

Anyone have any issues with them losing pressure. I want to mount these tires on my firehawk rims and i dont want to come out in the morning and have flat tires. I heard that the bias ply have this common problem.

i didn't have any trouble, but i've heard that too.....

...either way, 1.5x 60' times are worth it. besides i wouldn't recommend DD'ing these tires.

what if you got a nail or something like that, in a tire? Could ya throw a patch on it, or tube or just junk it and get a new one...
