Default Neck Brace?

what 1/4 mile times should I consider getting a neck bracket, just the foam ones that go between the helmet and my shoulders?

I'm not so sure the 1/4 matters so much as your 60ft......sissy. J/K.

Like stated above, mandatory at 9.99 or faster. I wear one anyway, not gonna hurt to have a little extra safety and they are cheap enough.

.

Cheap insurance, get one. Another biggie, fireproof driving gloves, cheap & much easier to touch stuff on fire. I push collars & gloves to all my slow friends. Required at 9.99 doesn't mean not needed until then.

Everywhere. As said, Summit, Jegs, Lane, every speed shop & most chassis shops have a deal with a racing warehouse. I've been on fire, trust me, gloves are very very cheap insurance. The collar might be a pain at 1st, but you get used to it quick & it helps with neck soreness on fast cars. Good luck & be safe, everyone.

Like said above... When I first was "required" to wear the brace and gloves, I thought it would be a pain in the *** - now I feel weird without everything on and wear it even if I'm only making a slow motor pass...

A Neck collar is a great thing to have, just ask the guys with broken necks that thought they wouldn't crash without one =)
