running out of steam at the top of first
running out of steam at the top of first the car is a 00 z28 with about 109k miles
in first gear and only first gear the car just runs out of power and quits pulling around 5k. If i stay in it, it will slowly pull higher rpms. Once i shift to the next gear, it pulls hard again and keeps pulling all the way past 6k.
I thought my 4l60e was giving me issues so I pulled it out and sold it. Built a TH400 and put it in. The problem is still there.
I did a fuel pressure test and at idle it's 60lbs. Driving in 1st and all other gears it's 60lbs and does not drop.
Any other thoughts on what is causing this issue?

that would be one of my thoughts that im going to check with a laptop. But then my question is what is causing it to not only pull timing but only pull timing in first.
