Hoosier Dot drag radial
Usually they just get it to start smoking and roll out on the M/T Radial.
From what you are saying he is getting them good and hot too
my first burnout of the night isn't a tire melter, but gets some nice heat in them. i'll spin them till i see smoke on the passenger side of the car and roll thru. every other burnout for the rest of the night is just a light haze and roll out.
i've also been wondering about the hoosier as well, but it doesnt seem like they'd be good for much street driving, which is what i've enjoyed so far about my mickey's...

Needless to say, I don't have plans to go back to the M/T's anytime soon.
I will admit the Hoosier is not well suited to street duty. I certainly wouldn't use them on the street. But for a drag only tire, they are a very good choice IMO.
Anymore questions?
BTW, just set a new personal best 60' of 1.289 footbraking my combination on the 325 Hoosier DOT D/R tires....naturally aspirated to boot.
