Default Borla owners; open exhaust or closed?

When at the track, should I be running with my exhaust open or closed? I have lt pacesetters, ORY, and Borla adjustable exhaust. Thanks

You could take the plate out of the borla.

Besides that I think it is a waste of time to pull the exhaust on a pretty much stock car.

My old Pacesetter/ORY/Borla open setup sounded ******' nasty at WOT at the track. I have no idea if it helped my times at all, I never ran it closed there. I always had it closed on the street though, that rasp was unreal, sounded terrible.

On the dyno it made about a 10rwhp difference on mine.

So you could probably expect it to make a difference of around a tenth in your e.t.

It made an 8rwhp difference with my car. I just take two of the bolts out and swing the plate out of the way at the track, then reinstall the bolts to keep everything tight.

I always thought I should run it open, but I was talking to one of the guys I bought my car from who is pretty much an lt1/ls1 guru, and he said with my setup, i need some back pressure for my car to run better
