122 MPH Trap

Roughly speaking, what quarter mile E/T would go along w/ 122mph trap speed?

A 10.90 would definitely require a good 60.

11.50's or so would be "normal" for a street car on a tire with 122mph traps.

It depends if you hook. I have seen cars trap 122 and go 11.90s with a 2.0 60ft, and seen them trap 122 and go 10.90s with a 1.47 60ft. If you look at the Stock Internal & Cam Only lists, they will give you a better idea of the 60fts, ETs, and trap speeds in that area.

I made a motor pass in my old car at LACR in Palmdale, CA and went 10.86@122 with a 1.45 60ft. TH400 4,500 stall launch off the transbrake on a poorly prepped track.

I've trapped as high as 121 and i'm nowhere near 10.9's. It depends mostly on the 60' and how your car is set up.

Most folk will be 11.4-11.2 with that trap in no wind, level track.

I went 11.2 @ 124 with a 1.53 60' with only suspension mod being umi torque arm. (including shocks and springs)

Early this year I was trapping around the 123 mark and running right around 10.9 to 10.8 with a big converter auto car. 122 could dip you a 10.xx but it's gonna be close. If you are talking about a stick car, you're probably at more like a 11.5

Alot depends on how the car leaves and the driveline.
