Default Are 27" slicks too tall for a tr224 cam car?

I have a set of 27x10.5x15 slicks, but I am curious if that would be considered too tall of a tire for a bolt on car with a tr224. I am currently running a 3200 stall with 2.73's. Hopefully that would be enough to get the car off the line. i am hoping to 60' in the 1.7-1.8 range. Any input on this? Or would I just be better off picking up some 26." And how much et would I lose in the 1/8 mile compared to the 26'' tall tire if they are too much?

I'd run the shorter tire. You don't have much gear even with a 3.06 1st gear. You should run faster and more mph with the 26" especially in the 1/8th mile assuming the car hooks on both tires.

With that stall and gear you will probably be quicker with the shorter tire.
