Electric/ Air Powered Chute deployment
Electric/ Air Powered Chute deployment What pneumatic or electric solenoids are there available to deploy the chutes?
Im redoing the cage and interior and don't want to have the pull handle anymore i want something closer to the steering wheel if there is a NHRA legal way.
FYI
i don't care if the promod guys can drive with one hand on the wheel and the other on the chute handle i don't feel comfortable doing it anymore.

You can have the steering wheel mounted release but you still have to have a cable in the car with a handle. The air cylinder just moves the handle.

Just for info, several of us have taken the air launchers off our Pro-Mod's. Too many leaks, kinks, bottle off accidents. A few seconds late on a short track is a very very bad thing at 200+. As Madman said, a wheel mount is a excellent idea, if you have a handle for back up. My Opinion!! I actually was thinking about putting a wheel mount back on, just for emergency when you need both hands on wheel. Ask Kenny Bernstein, he was the 1st guy I heard recommending them.
