Midnight Mayhem!! Hey fellas.
I'm going to the track tonight. I have a stock 99 ss camaro m6. never raced it. just wondering if anyone might have any tips for me so i can turn the best time. should i burn the tires in the water box? just runnin some 275 good year street tires. any help would be great! thanks!

DO NOT do a burnout in the water box, or at all for that matter. Stay out of the water box completely, drive around it. This is for your benefit as well as others.
After driving around the water box, do a quick (1-2 seconds) tire spin to clean the tires off. Do not lower the air pressure. Some dumbass at the track will tell you to do so, ignore him.
Wear a helmet, have fun, and enjoy learning how to drive your car at the track. If you break anything, remember to pull to the side of the track to prevent leaking anything on the track as much as possible.
