Installed mine a few weeks back. Only complaint is the noise on deceleration.
Everything bolted up without a problem. Took all of 2 hours to swap rear end and brakes in the parking lot.

- 3:73
- Standard 35 spline axles

- Strange Race Brakes

Where are you guys finding the deals on these rears? The best I can find is like $2500 for just a basic set up.

My S60 was $2450 out the door with tax. That's for 4.10 gears, true-trac, ABS/TCS provisions and new reluctors on the axles w/ 3 inch studs. It makes a bit of noise around 45-55 MPH, but nothing I can't live with. I'm happy with it.

mine was 2,000 shipped to my work with 4.10's, 35 spline, detroit locker with the black S aluminum cover. that was a year and a half ago though. And the price was my discount through Srange through my work.

But don't you have to factor in the price of a drive shaft in addition to the s60?

Yes, the driveshaft has to be slightly shorter to fit an S60.
Given the cost to modify a decent driveshaft VS the cost of a new Chromemoly one, it's just as easy to buy a new one.
Mine came with the rear end

Still love mine!!! Sees the track, I even busted an output shaft & twisted a yoke and the rear is still fine and still has 0 noise. It also fits perfect with all non adjustable suspension, I also added some 27" QTPS and they center great in the wheel well.
