That "boat anchor" is about as bad-*** as you can make a 402 out of an early 70's El Camino

You better watch out though, if Santa is nice I will loose the RV cam this winter and step up to some 93 octane gas next year just to blow your doors off

Wow that's not many miles, I need some thing I can drive on every day. The ET Street has a harder compound so maybe that's the route I will go.

31x14.5 ET Street will look nice on my car

I used to drive around on 33x16.5s with a spool, pro gears, 4500 stall, lexan windows

I'm the king of over done street project LOL.

This car started off with 26x10's and I wanted street car and I ended up driving out the garage with a tube frame back half, 4 link coil over car with tires big enough to float the car in water.

Thanks. The best the car has gone is 10.56 @ 125. It is a 383 (no spray) with a powerglide, stock front suspension and mini-tubbed with cal-tracs out back. In bracket race trim it weighs 3215 with me in it (220 lbs).

I have another car on the way that I will use to bracket race, so when it is done the nova will get a make over and hopefully be a low nine second street ride. I am thinking blow-thru turbo or SC. I like the car to run slow when I race in the Box class (Super Pro). I feel it gives me an advantage over the 7 second dragsters .

My buddy runs a blown through carb setup with a big centrifugal blower on a sbc. I think it works pretty good, he has ran as fast as 8.30's in a 3400-3600 pound car on a 275 60 15 drag radial.

I also like the idea of chevy motors in mustangs, the mustang is a great drag chassis and gotta love chevy power

This is my winter project. I'm putting an LS1 in it. Gonna put a 295 drag radial on it and try to get it to sit just a little lower. Shooting to get the race weight under 3000 lbs.

Looks good, Will be time to put some tubs in it when you go to a 295 60 15 and lower it.

Trust me it is a lot of fun doing it, nothing like hot sparks flying in your face
