modify bmr trac pack
modify bmr trac pack i bought one from a board member i was wondering if i can make it similar to a umi unit or some else by getting 1/4 plate and drilling 2 holes to bolt to the factory tunnel brace holes then cut the bar on the bmr trac pack and weld it to those plates...simply because i dont have sfc and dont plan on getting any...
what would be the downfall? seems like it would be the exact same as other companys body mounted units correct?

I would make a new tunnel brace and yes you can make 2 new plates, but if you make the plates I would make more than 2 holes, I would make 3 or 4 holes so you have more adjustments, you can use a thicker piece of metal and stager the holes forward and backward some and make them closer together so the tuning is finer.
no im sayin instead of welding it to subframes i want to make it a bolt in unit...that will bolt to the factory tunnel brace...
its already adjustable on the car....
you can see in this pic its welded to the subframes AND the stock tunnel brace area with plate...im talking about only welding it to the stock tunnel brace area but with 1/4 inch plate so it is 100 percent removeable
to me all the force is being pressed into the floor board i doubt that your goana need the extra bracing all the way out by the subframes (with that long of a bar its goana flex ayways)...so it would be narrower stronger and removeable .like other companys products...

The reason i would not do it is they are not ment to take the up and down forces you are going to put on them. I re-enforced mine but I am a believer in SFCs. I built my own and they are VERY strong 
did some research tonite and madman says put the pinion angle finder on the rear and adjust to 88 from the ground....but how do you know your on level ground? ( i mean the car, oblivously gravity doesnt change)
i always though you adjusted it from the d/s to the rear end...what throws me off is you can simply change the pinion angle from tires diameter (rear) and air pressure in tires and weight in the front and back of the car....
