A few companies sell tops. Along with doors, hatches, hoods, front ends, rear ends, complete body's.

Fiberglass roof, not fiberglass t-tops, I am assuming he wants to cut off the entire t-top roof and replace it with a fiberglass roof.

if you take down the paint in your car you can see where the joint is on the a-pillar and the rear line from the roof install is obvious. just get a lid off of a wrecked hard top car, make careful cuts, and adhesive the solid roof in place.
the biggest things you have to take time to do properly are bracing the body so that it doesn't flex or distort with the roof off and making sure your measurements are right. when bonding panels together it is very very important to not have to fill gaps.

If you are thinking the t-tops will hurt the stiffness of the car don't be concerned. Put in some good frame connectors and a decent roll bar or cage. Get someone knowledgeable to put them in.

thanks for the info, I was concerned that it would hurt the stiffness and maybe fly off at higher speeds. I have weld in sfc and am getting a cage in feb so hopefully that will be enough

Search for the post on the t-tops, there is a way to make sure the pins are fully engaged.

The only one I have seen come off was not latched.

T-tops are very helpful when getting in and out of the car when it is in your trailer.

I have seen a few fly off after hard launches. Look up the post on how to adjust them so they fit tight.
