Default Help Launching My Modified C-5

I'm new to the 11's and I think I should be much deeper into the 11's according to my timeslip:
60' - 1.954
330 - 5.174
1000 - 9.894
1/4 - 11.707
MPH - 125.66

I'm having trouble launching the car... It's a head and cam car making 490 rwp and 410 rwt. We just put in a new RPM - M6 trans, new 4:10 DTE diff, DTE brace, tunnel plate, spec 3+ clutch w/ billet flywheel, 295/35/18 drag radials. I'd like any help possible with launching the car. PLEASE HELP... I NEED TO GO FASTER!!!

With 125 mph the car is capable of going well into the 10's.

What do you have as far as adjustable shocks and spring rates?

What rpm are you launching the car at?

Not sure how good a 295 35 18 would hook drag radial or not.

I would try a tire with more side wall.

You can run some QA1 shocks and it will help get the adjustability. What tires are you running ? I had hell gettin my C6 to hook. When it finally did it destroyed my Spec Stage 3 Clutch. LoL

I have a stock shocks and suspention, which does have selective ride control. I keep it in touring mode, turn off the traction control, put it in competetive driving mode and launch. I've tried launching anywhere between 3000 - 5000 rpms. It falls on it's face or spins - no happy medium. I really want to keep the car looking stock and dont want to swap my tires for slicks at the track if possible. The tires are BfG's G-force. Please help...

You can do it on BFG'S
I would turn the Active Suspension off and Make sure the Traction control is always off
I usually launched around 3500 rpms. It would come out pretty good. 5000 is way to much for those tires. The IRS leaves allot different than a Solid axle car. It just takes allot of practice.

Stock C5 suspension works perfect for the track. Don't know about those tires but here is what I did with my Nitto's on the C5.

Tire pressure set to 22 lbs
Good burnout
Launch rpm at 5000rpm
Very slight slip of the clutch at launch to load rear suspension.

Did consistant 1.60 60's with the stock 3.42 gears and about the same power as you.
