M6 racers help please... OK, old clutch is history, new clutch on the way. Here's a question I have regarding 60 foots and clutch strength. Let's say I have the mack daddy mega grip clutch rated at 1500 horsepower. I have around 500 or so actually going to it. Will I bog off the line from a 6700 rpm dump? Is it actually better to get a clutch that slips a little so rpms don't drop so low? I need help and fast! Thanks.

Re: M6 racers help please... I made over 300 passes last year at 6,500 rpms with no problems. :p
My Hot Rod did not bog off the line at all and I was using the Mcloed Rev Lock.
Thunder Racing was the hook up.

Re: M6 racers help please... With the 4.30 gears and a 27" tire bogging should not be a problem ,just keep the RPMS high at launch. I use the RAM 402/6130 setup with a 26" tire and launch at 6600 without a problem.
