Gear help I have 4.3o gears and a 28in rear tire i was traping at 7400 @ 129. i put a 30in slick on the car how much will that lower my trap rpms and what whould be my mph @ 7400 based on the same converter slipage

the MPH should be roughly the same, depending on slippage and all that...
You can use the calculator in my sig, plus others around to figue out the RPM for that tire/gear combo at a givem MPH...
I assume you are talking about crossing the traps in a 1:1 gear ratio right?

without dealing with converter slippage the calculation are ~6650 RPM's with the 28" tires @ 129 MPH and 6200 with the 30" tires, so with your converter slipping about 750 RPM's between your readings and the calculation you can assume the 30" tire will cross the traps close to 7000 RPM's or just under...
