Im 3535 with a half a tank of gas and me in it. I have the ac,heat and ABS out but I have all bolt ons which is some heavy stuff. Would like to get some bogarts and rubber to drop some weight from the stock salad shooters

 

My car weighs in at 3320 w/o driver, but I'm a pretty big guy at 270

Glass hood(bolt on)
No back seat
No drivers airbag (different wheel)
No front sway bar

Car has a 9"
1/2 tank

 

How in the hell is my car so heavy? JESUS at 2900 my car would FLY, raceweight would be 3230, weighs 3470 with no driver!!??

I would run 10.50's on motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No a/c, evap still there

Glass hood

No front swaybar

no front bumper support

Grant steering wheel(no driver airbag)

slightly lighter seats, or so I think(Hunsaker seats)

No rear seats at all

factory seat belts gone

COnvo Pros with front runners and drag radials

Padding gone off factory carpet.

But I put back in:

6 point chrome moly bar with 5 point harnesses

9 inch

4L60E(swap for a 6 speed)

4 inch Mufflex out the back

FUll aeromotive fuel system

Tube K member

Chrome moly LCA's

Aluminum Panhard rod

Global west frame connectors(BIG)



I am planning to remove the door bars and the passenger airbag soon, I dont want Kirkey seats but may have to.


This a real streetcar, I drive it all over. Any other ideas? This weight is killing me...and the car he he.

mine is 3690 without a spare, jack, backseat, swaybar,empty bottle and 1/8 th tank of fuel.

 

With Driver???
T/A's seem 2 always be heavier...
