1st place @ Clash of the Titans
1st place @ Clash of the Titans We took Stevens car (slomaro) to the clash this weekend @ HRP. Came home with a 1st place finish in the 10.00 index for true street. Will we ever be stopped? Great event, good racing, hot women, nice wrecks. 
Re: 1st place @ Clash of the Titans I was there running true 10.5. Iqualified 7th and got my *** handed to me first round by my engine builder. I never got ahold of the track all weekend. track temps around 140 degrees created greasy conditions that got me.

Brian stock suspended 4th gens don't tend to hook when they're making 800 HP on motor and leaving with 500 worth of sauce out of the gate with a greasy track. Talk about some crazy wheel stands when it did. Look cool to see the car get out and blow the tires with the front end in the air.

Re: 1st place @ Clash of the Titans I had a great time Sunday at the Clash. It was really worth taking the day off! Damn was it hot or what! There were alot of cars that just could not hook due to extreme track temps but, the Herzog car, the "Bullet", and Billy Glidden seemed like they could hook on a damn Boat Ramp!

It looks like the LS1s played hard Saturday. They was some very tough competition out there.

Re: 1st place @ Clash of the Titans It was the same payout, $200 which was the maximum for every class. It's really not that bad for a $30 entry fee. True Street for the clash is different then at the races we've had. After the 30 mile cruise your car stays at a designated area and the hood cannot be popped. Fuel cannot be added and the only thing they allow is the changing of nitrous bottles, you can't adjust your timing or anything. If there is a emergency you can have an official with you to allow you to pop the hood, without him you will be disqualified.

Good seeing you guys and congrads to wormy.. I almost got thrown out at the cruise because i had 3 people in my car with about 3 beers each.. Isnt this a family sedan they didnt think so..
