Default 33 spline Gun drill?

Can you gun grill 33 spline axels? or will they be to weak. What kind of weight savings

Its only a few lbs weight savings, and although it is rotating mass it is also the very center of the axle which is easiest to turn. If you are looking for the very last lb, then it may be worth it.

You can get them from Moser, Sean checked for me this week when he was ordering my gears and spool. This way if I have an axle go, at least I know I can get them.

moser sells them, but we had 33 gun drilled in wagon and twisted them in 8 passes,,but havin 3700lbs ,60 foot 1.32 on the back wheels might have had something to do with that, went to 40, havent checked them yet

moser gundrilled star end are 9.5 lbs lighter 520 with bearings. not shure if im gona yet

I wouldn't gun drill a 33 spline, smallest would be a 35 spline as far as something I would have gun drilled and run myself.
