Need Help
MM's car is far from slow, in fact its probably faster than ALOT of your customers cars.
And to be honest, the reason I didn't donate any $$$ is that I see someone who is capable of building (and financing) a car of this caliber as someone who should be able to fix it when something happens. MM didn't ask for money or parts, but people see him as the "little guy" who is really setting the pace and decided they wanted him to continue with their help if need be.
I understand you are not a super high dollar shop but seriously, if you can afford to campaign a race car like that you should have a couple bucks to buy cheap stuff like what was needed here.
JMO, not worth much, and I'm sure you'll make that known.
So which is it? You do want help (as mentioned in your first post) or you "dont need handouts" (as quoted above)?
Funny, all the "real racers" I've ever raced with never asked me for a ******* penny.
As far as needing money that wasnt the case. All the parts used to fix the "Black Bitch" were paid for either in trade or with cash.
The people who helped were appreciated and we made the race.
I do not think I caught the logic here.

I didn't rate them in the same category, not sure what you mean here? If you're referring to the fact that I said MM's car is probably faster than alot of his customers cars I think thats a fair statement. I realize that SOME of the cars Madman turns out are VERY fast, but I'm guessing not every customer of his is running 8's and faster. My guess is alot of his sales are to "average" sportsman type racers, 9 and 10 second guys.
If you're referring to the whole comment about being able to afford to fix the cars, it isn't like it grenaded the engine and took the blower and tranny with it. It burnt stuff that probably amounted to less $$$ than a minor scrape with the wall would cost.
Also worth noting, the two cars are what, 1.2 seconds apart? I don't consider that a huge difference considering Bradys car is an all out DR race car and you could walk past MM's car in a parking lot and maybe say "nice rims" without so much as giving it a second glance.
Thanks to you Mr. Urban
