I wouldn't personaly run anything less than a ytp4400. That cam pulls 7k easily. Hell I run a ytp4400 SI LOL. That cam could run a 5500 converter NO problem.

i'd try the 4400 for that cam since its a friggin beast and likes rpms from what I see

Okay....who the hell makes the G5X2 I keep hearing about. I heard this is THE cam for any car not running stage 2 heads.

4000 stall...you can still spray it with ease on a 4000 stall as well without to much worry..4k has my vote

spraying a 4000 stall (not the pye convertors) will move the flash point way up, maybe too high. but on motor, no doubt you cant get enough convertor. the 4400 is the best for all out.

I know I'm bringing this back from the dead..more like the dark abyss..but anywho this is what I came up with by searching. Now, I am thinking about buying a car with the g5x2 cam in it for my wife. It'll be a daily driver. She isn't interested in racing this one, that's what mine is for. That said, what torque convertor would you use in this application? I want something that's easy for her to drive in stop and go traffic.
