best 1/8th by mph and 60ft Ok so the other night i was at our local 1/8th mile. Temp was about 65 and it was my first night owning the T/A. My 60 ft was a weak 2.1 and my 1/8 mile time was 8.8 at 82mph and i was having to throttle thru second. How much faster could i go in corilation with the mph and good traction. I also just installed 3.73 and a mti air lid and free mods.

Without knowing the complete 60 foot time (2.1XX??) and whether you have a stick or automatic, the car should be capable of 8.3-8.5 at 84-86 mph with a 2.00 or lower 60 foot, which will require a sticky tire.

I pulled a best 1.94 sixty on street tires, consisant 1.95-1.99. Soon as I put 373s in wouldnt hook.

Well its a m6 and 60 ft was 2.165. I just hope that my recent gear install with 3.73's amd my new lid and free mods and getting rid of the piece of **** granatelli maf it should go a decent bit faster with stickeys. Hell i think as bad as i was bogging of the line and spinning as bad as i was in second it should go hopping 8.1's at least. You guys think any different?

Thats way off. you just cant take your 1/4 time and cut it in half. there are a lot of other things to factor in. Iv seen turbo cars that jun in the 6.9 range in the 1/8 run a high 9 sec 1/4.
It will always take longer to do the first half of the 1/4 mile because you start from 0 mph, once you run the 1/8th most cars are already doing over 100+ mph, that's why the 60 ft is the most important factor in the start of the race, because it takes the most amount of time covered per foot.So I would have to say, cutting 1/4 mile time in 1/2 will never be accurate.
