Anything that does not have a "halo" and front down bars is considered a roll bar. A 4 point , a 6 point , or an 8 point , are all considered "roll bars". When you add the "halo" and front down bars it's considered a "cage". The "point" term is where the roll bar or cage bars meet the uni-body or frame. A four point roll bar is where there is a main hoop that ties in at two "points" and has two down bars to the rear of the chassis, that tie in to two "points"(4 pt roll bar). A six point roll bar is a main hoop , two down bars to the rear , and two down bars to the front along drivers seat and passenger seat. Adding two bars from the main hoop to the trans tunnel makes your 6 "point" roll bar an 8 "point" roll bar. To that add a "halo" and two down bars that tie in to the front down bars and the frame uni body makes it a 10 "point" cage . Furthering that you can then add two more additional bars from the down bars coming off of the "halo" going through the fire wall and tieing into the front frame rails makes you a 12 "point" cage. You can then get a "funny car cage kit" that goes around the driver, a couple 2 x 3 outriggers and a few bars to make a 25.5 cage. I hope this helps a litte more for you guys , and as far as the 25.5 there is a bit more to it but this is a good break down on "cages" and "roll bars"......

It's a nice looking bar. There are some bad design elements. If you're taller than 5'5 and decide to run shoulder harnesses, that cross bar could actually give you some spinal compression injuries in an accident. PLEASE do not attach shoulder harnesses to it. Your factory belts are safer. I'd certainly have located the rear down tubes higher on the B-hoop.
