can these pieces be cut out as well?? technically its where the arm rest is in the back seat.

Yep. They come out whenever a car is mini-tubbed so taking them out now is fine as well.

Drilling the spot welds is a little tricky in some spots, a cutoff wheel also will come in handy, sometimes they are not even in that good and after you drill a few spot welds you can pop them off with the hammer claw.

sounds good thanks!! i already removed the seat brackets and seat belt brackets a while ago and saw this the other day and was hoping i could take this out as well....

how far should i drillinto the spot weld?

I used a large drill bit 1/2" and drilled the center of the spot weld, that way most of the time it didn't even drill all the way through, once you drill most of the spot weld off it'll just pop up when you pry on it some.

Punch the spot weld, drill with a small bit, then a 1/2" or so. Pry it off.

These brackest are 5.4lbs for both sides IIRC

Im in like flin too. But when you drill out the welds, does the metal underneth it look like crap with a bunch of drill marks on it????????
