You might want to specify car, mods and such before asking a question like that as it is too general. Some exhaust systems today cost very little if any power and they will help in the torque department if done right.

ok sorry its a 2000 ss m6 and i plan on doing very little street driving. car is currently under construction. Its getting a spec stage 3 new gm slave ram adjustable master pace setter lt's spohn soild motor mounts and poly t mount and total tune up. Ive also done free mods and air lid with nitto dr's this got me 12.96 at 107 with a crappy 2.09 sixty ft

oops forgot its a 2000ss m6 with free mods and nitto dr's i ran 12.96 at 107 with a crappy 2.09 sixty ft. Its currently under construction im going to be doing alot of weight reduction. I am putting in a spec stage 3 clutch with a spec billet fly wheel. also will be getting a new gm slave and ram adjustable master. Pace setter lt's will be installed spohn solid motor mounts and prothane tranny mount ws6 short stick.

Since it's been several years since I raced, I'ver seen a few of your cars run. Even spent the money to go to some Super Chevy Shows. If I were you I would be happy with a 12.96 but unhappy with a 107 mph trap in a manual SS.

A cutout would likely gain you a bit over the stock catback, but if you go to a good flowing aftermarket exhaust system the gains running a cutout can diminish.

I have 15" extensions with turndowns right off of the header.

Yeah i was thinking of extensions my self i really dnt plan on driving the car much any way. Iv read extensions will add in the hp and tq department over open headers. My goal is to get my car in the 11's with boltons then spray into the 10's hope this is reasonable.
